Virginia’s Governor Visits Arkay Packaging’s Roanoke Plant

On Friday, January 29, Governor Terry McAuliffe traveled to Roanoke, Virginia, to visit Arkay Packaging and meet with Mitchell Kaneff, Arkay’s third-generation CEO. Known as one of the world’s premier folding carton manufacturing companies, New York-based Arkay is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Roanoke, where it has a 140,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.

On this landmark occasion, Governor McAuliffe announced that Arkay is investing $11 million to upgrade equipment and expand its operation in Botetourt County. The project will create 50 new jobs.

Established in 1922, Arkay provides global cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies with creative, cost-effective and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
